With an emphasis on assessing the skill of CLO collateral managers and analyzing CLO structures, the Adviser believes that its approach is more akin to a private equity style investment approach than to the typical process used by many fixed income investors

The goal of the investment process is to outperform the CLO market generally over the long-term. Our investment process involves proactive sourcing and identification of investment opportunities in both the primary and secondary market. We believe that Eagle Point’s relative size and prominence in the CLO market and direct and often longstanding

relationships of the Adviser’s investment team with CLO collateral managers and arranging banks benefit us by enhancing our ability to source investments and secure allocations of CLO debt investments issued in the primary market (the syndications of which can be oversubscribed).

Specialized Investment Team

Our Adviser is exclusively focused on CLO securities and related investments, and each member of the senior investment team is a CLO industry specialist who has been directly involved in the CLO market for the majority of his career.

Differentiated Investment Strategy and Process

We pursue a differentiated strategy within the CLO debt market premised upon our Adviser’s emphasis on assessing the skill of CLO collateral managers and analyzing the structure of a CLO.
